Wellness & Preventative Care

Vaccinations, routine blood work, parasite testing, and proper nutrition are all vital for your pet to live a long, happy and healthy life.

Vaccinations are started at 6-8 weeks of age and continue on an annual basis for the remainder of your dog or cat's life span.  Vaccines play an important role in keeping your pet healthy and free of diseases.

Along with annual vaccinations, routine blood work plays an important role in the overall health of your pet.  Annual blood work allows us to see internal organ function and how it is changing over time.  This is helpful for veterinarians because it allows us to catch any medical issues earlier.

Regular parasite screenings help keep your pet free of intestinal parasites like hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, and tapeworms.  The process is as simple as dropping off a stool sample for analyzing.
